Little Walter with Sad Hours...
Utterly gorgeous,
what else can you say?
Lovely.
Here's one of my favourite harmonica songs of all time:
Shame it's not the "Full House" version - this one's a bit fast, and the sound quality isn't great - but fuck me if the J. Geils Band weren't the absolute tits.
Wonderful
I'd not heard it before. Much ta!
That'll be Magic Dick

Great player. Sonny Boy Williamson (Rice Miller) is also worth your time if you like this. He's a superior lyricist. Love the harp on Mighty Long Time.
Anal cleft not pictured?
Have I got this meringue?

1967 Stockport..wandering around on a Saturday afternoon , 16 years old, following 21 year old Viv a vintage hippy chick...into a second hand record shop..she hands me an album..says 'this is what you should be listening to..take it home..drop the needle into the groove...have never forgotten THAT moment when Little Walter takes that a solo..an uncanny, powerful expression..and what a recording..the harp BLOWS out of the tiny speaker..bloody marvellous!
