The Guardian's 1000 songs - anybody done a Spotify playlist yet?

The Guardian are doing a listing of 1,000 Songs You Must Hear.

Anybody got enough time on their hands to make a Spotify playlist out of it yet - or at least as many as Spotify has?

There are links

If someone has enough patience it shouldn't be hard as there's a link to the Spotify track next to each song on the web site, give how many of them you've probably already heard it's probably quicker for you to make your own based on what you still need to hear.

Sick of these lists...

I had to throw away the one on Saturday. The choices were wilful. I really wish they could put these sort of things away now.

But of anyone can explain how I see someone elses playlist on Spotify that would be welcome. It dosen't seem too hot on browsing either or am I missing something.

Just get them to send you a link to the playlist

e.g. http://open.spotify.com/user/hubejr/playlist/6naqKpuKQyQLNUTeN6HYxQ

Then click on it and it'll add the playlist to your Spotify

Utter bolleaux

I started a quick scan through Saturday's Love Songs and stopped when I saw no Jackson Browne.
It's not so much that I'm a massive JB fan, more a case of being a willing convert here to Mrs P's tastes, but he has done one or two rather good love songs and to overlook them completely suggests to me a case of 1,000 songs we knocked off in a couple of hours that we quite like.

I'm really enjoying them

If you don't take them too seriously and just look at them as non-exclusive lists of songs rather than a definitive statement, I think they are pretty good.

I've been reminded of some songs I haven't heard for a while, listened to some that are new to me and discovered some interesting facts about familiar tunes (today's volume on protests songs is particularly good for this).
