The greatest version of Lilly Marlene ever

Last year at the end of the News Quiz tribute to Alan Coren they concluded with him singing Lilly Marlene in German , pure class .
Fittingly Word carried a Coren quote on spine shortly afterwards .
For those who believe in humour being crafted from a love and knowledge of language , coupled with a tolerant understanding of human failings , his ilk are far to thin on the ground .
