The future of magazines?

Saw this on Creative Review's website - really quite interesting how these things could change it all (not just as a huge mag fan but I'm a Graphic Designer too).

I personally like a touchy-foldy-keepy thing like a magazine, but you have to admit this looks exciting. Just got to work out how it all works so we can all keep our jobs!

And another thing

You can't roll it up and shove it in your bag as you relise you've nearly missed your stop on the tube...

Oh I do hope not

I'm sick of having to look at screens. I don't think my eyes can take much more. I stare at one all day. I don't want to be doing that when I get home. And you can't read it in the bath.

I want a physical magazine in my hands, and I know I'm not alone. This new device may be a bit of the future of magazines but certainly not all of it.

And reading from paper

And reading from paper rather than screen is sooo much better for your eyes too. I too stare at a screen 8 or 9 hours a day. It's a pleasure to curl up in bed, even if it does get a bit crumply.
