The Disappeared

el toro calvo grande's picture

catching up on some back content, I decided to look at Middlerabbit's profile......not there! Some message about needing to log in etc...

Has he gone and left us?

He went rabid

and had to be put down.

Aaaahhhhhh

Pity he took poor Archie down with him

Just

caught up with the last knockings of the Fitzpatrick thread.

A sad end really...........

He unadvisably succumbed to

a lethal and inappropriate dose of mixamydictosis, brought on by an inability to recognise the edge of the abyss, and a lack of prudential verbal economy.

Mixamytoasties surely?

Had one cheese and onion and one ham and cheese.

That sounds like too much cheese, reminiscent of

Welsh MiddleRarebit.

Who they?

Am I the only person who couldn't give a stuff about these two?!

I've been a member of this forum a good few months now and there is such a high turnover of content I can barely keep up.

I hadn't particularly noticed either of them until this recent p*ssing contest, the bulk of which I lost the will to read after a few minutes. It was like one of those irritating Youtube troll-wars but with better vocab.

There are plenty of other people on here with plenty of interesting things to say, and the absence of two garrulous characters who can't follow the simple posting guidelines won't spoil my enjoyment of the Word blog.

Really?

I'm amazed you haven't noticed Archie - he was one of the most regular, and most readable, contributors. It's a real shame he's gone. As for Middlerabbit, well it's a bit sad really, the guy obviously had problems.
