The cover

has come off my new issue of Word. I love everything about the new design except for this. I can't even blame my toddlers except to the extent that magazines get picked up and put down a lot as their supervision requires, but I'd hope a magazine should withstand 'getting picked up and put down a lot'.
If I didn't know it'd annoy people, I'd put a sad face emoticon HERE.

Get a life.

No.
Can't make me.
Count yourself lucky
My partner dropped our copy into the bath the night it arrived. So after careful drying it is readable, but has gone both faint and corrugated.
It's a funny thing
Some people like to keep magazines, file them away, pristine condition...etc. Others, like me, just read 'em and chuck 'em.
I genuinely wouldn't care if my cover came off. Not that I'm knocking you for caring, we're all different.
I chuck them too
I'd just like it to remain readable until I do.
Sellotape...
does wonders.
How about
a nice set of binders made to look like leather bound volumes. Month by month they would build into a fine library of erudite debate on contemporary popular culture, and grace any study.
Mine has survived
Being carted about the house, being left in steamy bathrooms and also a trip to Germany that involved an unplanned overnight schlep in a terminal where the Pope quiz at the back became our sole source of entertainment. And the cover is fine. Are you sure you where handling it correctly???
I blame
the staples...
Pops
Or Mavis.
Good to see them branching out into printing.
They should've stuck to their day jobs...
but I always thought they were good with covers!
Puts it on a par with
The Christmas Radio Times. Always lost its cover too easily.
That's something to be proud of.
There's your problem
there's so much in it.
More filler, fewer pages, bigger pictures, dull articles - that's what we need. Then you could throw it away before the cover falls off.
But
should there be a holidays section in the middle that gets in the way?
There are more words.
Makes the magazine heavier - fact.
