Entertainment For Lively Minds
The combined might of The Massive's brain please
Posted by Axekeith on 9 April 2010 - 4:56pm.
My 8 year old daughter (and the rest of her school) are taking part in their annual sponsored run around the playground, and the Head has asked if I can put together a CD of songs with Run(ning) in the title. They should be jaunty enough to inspire the kids to run around to. He has specifically asked for Keep On Running.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance

No "M". "Hitmakers" is one word. Its abbreviation is one letter. Get a grip.

Perhaps (or perhaps not) this ;-)
Tune!
I'm Gonna Run Away From You by Tami Lynn
Had to check if that was one of the young folk's expressions :-)
Seeking enlightenment I tried Wikipedia and was delighted by this helpful list:
You live & learn, eh ...
'Run Rudolph Run'...
by Keith Richards.
Oh, and 'Before They Make Me Run' by Keith Richards and the She Was Hot hitmakers.
Best steer clear of
Jarvis's Running the World, methinks!

Run Wild. New Order.
Running To Stand Still. U2.
Another Runaway. Ladyhawke.
Ahem
Running in the Family - Level 42
Ahem indeed
This popped up on my iPod the other day and Ahem was the exact sound I made even though nobody else was around but, I do like quite a bit of Level 42. There, I've said it. Coat firmly on.
