The combined might of The Massive's brain please

Axekeith's picture

My 8 year old daughter (and the rest of her school) are taking part in their annual sponsored run around the playground, and the Head has asked if I can put together a CD of songs with Run(ning) in the title. They should be jaunty enough to inspire the kids to run around to. He has specifically asked for Keep On Running.

Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance

David, David, David

No "M". "Hitmakers" is one word. Its abbreviation is one letter. Get a grip.

Tune!

I'm Gonna Run Away From You by Tami Lynn

0
Vince Black | 9 April 2010 - 5:30pm

Had to check if that was one of the young folk's expressions :-)

Seeking enlightenment I tried Wikipedia and was delighted by this helpful list:

Tune may refer to:
A melody or tune-family
A tune (folk music), a short piece of instrumental music, usually with repeating sections, and often played a number of times
British slang term, often said when referring to a piece of music that is enjoyed
Tune, Denmark, a little Danish town near Roskilde
Tune, Norway, a village in Norway, near Oslofjord
Tune ship burial in Norway
Tune (bicycle parts), a bike part manufacturer
Tune Ventures, Malaysian investment company
Tune, a Japanese fashion magazine
To "tune" a lady is to "talk her up" or "get to know her better"; see seduction

You live & learn, eh ...
