TFL announce O2 ferry

kgb's picture

Being part of the Saturday night Dylan fiasco at the O2 when reports of people's journeys home were akin to the last chopper out of Saigon at the end of the Vietnam war I was interested to hear that TFL have announced that they will run a ferry across the Thames from the Reuters dock near East India DLR on gig nights when the Jubilee is not working. However its not on their site so perhaps to soon to say thank you Boris. Anyone seen an official announcement?

Good luck with the DLR

Getting across East London right now on the DLR can be a lot worse than being airlifted out of Saigon. Most of the connections with other lines are supremely buggered at the best of times. I work with two guys who come into Central London on it and they're currently an hour late....

Southerners *shakes head*

- bit of trouble getting home from a pop concert and it's 'worse than being airlifted out of Saigon', a few snow flakes in Winter and it's the end of civilisation as we know it *feeds whippet, passes tripe sandwich to Stuart Maconie*
