Terminator 4, what did you think of it?
Posted by LOUDspeaker on 15 February 2010 - 10:24am.
Terminator Salvation seems to split people down the middle. The person I watched it with thought it was disjointed and pretty dire. One and a half out of five they said.
I thought it was a good solid war film. I'd give it four out of five and I'm the usually quite unimpressed with action movies nowadays. It's better than T3 anyway, which was really just one long chase and a great downer ending. The sequence from the petrol station to the jets being destroyed was one of the best modern action scenes I've seen in a long time.
What would you give it out of five (I don't care how unWord it is, I like star ratings)?

I didn't mind it
I like the nuclear war/ judgement day element of the Terminator series best so it was a bit more action film than I wanted, but in that genre I thought it was pretty good. I'm going to sit on the fence and give it 3 stars.
However, the series - the Sarah Connor Chronicles is superb. It lost its way a bit in the middle of the overlong 2nd series, but overall its great. Watching a Terminator learn ballet is quite something. Lots of mind-bending time travel stuff going on, not knowing what everyone's agenda is...
Haven't seen it. One reason.
McG
1 for trying
Everything that's bad about CGI, no plot to speak of and crimes committed against a great original idea.
No idea...
...it's for kids, isn't it? Like most of what comes out of Hollywood these days.
