How can i prevent my earphones from turning into a birds nest when i stuff them into my pocket

I've used it myself on occasion. It's a bit of a faff, but less of a faff than the untangling faff if you don't do it.
Any chance you could switch
to bluetooth headphones ? Remove the cable altogether ?
