Synchroncity of imagery
Posted by Patrick Crowther on 12 May 2009 - 7:10pm.
So I got home from work 10 minutes ago, and lying on my doormat was the new issue. After decoding the strange cipher of lines and creases on the cover and realizing that it was Sir Ig staring back at me, I put the magazine on my coffee table. I then looked at the cover of the book next to it, 'In England' by the photographer Don McCullin. And an unusual connection was made... a synchronicity of imagery that was a delight to behold...

Uncanny
Talking of synchronicity...
isn't that one of The Proclaimers in the background?
I was thinking exactly the same thing!
Is he the same guy that's in the photo David Hepworth posted the other day?!
Well I was reading a graphic novel....
Looking at Patrick's original photo...
...taken in Royston Vasey?
This is a local mag
for local people, we'll have no Dylan here.
The new cover unnerves me
His nipples appear to follow me around the room
Iggy
looks like the front seat in a weathered, classic sports car.
Richards + Versace = Pop
It's ALIVE!
am i allowed to lol?
if not i'll just say 'bravo!'
I'll chip in with...
... "inspired".
can I just say....
...nnnnoooooooooooooooo!!!!!
I think I'm going to have to throw the magazine out without reading it. Straight in the recycle bin. Do not pass go. Do not collect any new information. In fact, I haven't even opened the bag yet to retrieve the unlucky CD. It's lying face down in the hallway next to unwanted bulk mail/spam. It looks like my new Word magazine, but it can't be. Not with uncle Igg and his geriatric nipple-party on the front cover.
I think I'm going to go for a lie down and pretend it didn't happen.
I might pop down to the post-office tomorrow and wrap it in brown paper, like I used to do with my jotters at school.
Yes - that'll make it better.
can I just say....
double-post disaster. double-nipple nightmare.
Next Months Cover
The new cover with Iggy certainly grabs your attention. Maybe next time you could do a similar cover with Dolly Parton. That will ensure Word is kept abreast with the competition.

Being operated on 9 to 5...

Blimey
that Steven Tylers been working out a bit.....
