Syd Barrett's photocopier
Posted by Silas Lang on 16 July 2009 - 3:32pm.
I see the Blessed Syd's photocopier ("hasn't been used for quite a long time, and might not work"), authenticated by PC World receipt and signed manual, is up for auction on a well-known site.
It's all in a good cause– see www.escapeartists.co.uk
But whatever next? Joe Strummer's Strimmer? Jim Morrison's toaster? Lennon's favourite Biro?

Boots full of whistles
would make it bloody difficult to play well
I'm no apologist …
… for the whistle industry, stimpy, but I feel sure that the difficulty in playing would be balanced by the sheer pleasure of knowing that your footwear was full of classic whistles.
Classic whistles?
I thought the classic Thunderer was plain metal - not sure about these new-fangled multi-coloured ones at all.
