No not that one! This one all in a days work.....
Incredible
I have a strange feeling in my stomach watching this. I can imagine being paralysed by fear half way up and unable to move.
I thought this was footage
I thought this was footage of Newt Gingrich trying to regain the moral high round.
Bloody hell.
That gave me the collywobbles.
You've got to be missing something very fundamental to do that for a living.
Quite astonishing.
I may...
...actually have a nightmare. Fuck me, I hate heights.
My palms are sweating and I feel sick
Unbelievable!
Me too
My palms were sweating and the FPO came in to wonder what I was watching as she heard my odd noises!
And you said
"watching a man get to grips with a large erection and go to work with his tool"
Stop it
:)
It did remind me of unpleasant dreams I've had, but..
..you don't have to hate heights to find that video highly disturbing.
You just have to be normal.
It's back
Assuming it's the same footage (and I think it is), this was posted on a blog very briefly, and got taken down - they got into serious trouble because it shows them working without the safety line attached. Apparently it gets in the way when they're working.
I can hardly bear to watch it - a few seconds of that and I can feel a certain part of my anatomy shrinking.
Every muscle
in my lower body is now in a state of spasm. Seriously butt-clenching stuff.
Sings
"And The Wichita Lineman is still on the liiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnne!!!!!!!"
I was expecting them to reach the very top and then ...
... one of them was going to say "I forgot the screwdriver!"
Blimey, my palms are still sweaty.
So
What happens if one of them has to 'go'?
We used that footage
at one of my work places to demonstrate the importance of designing safety into construction projects, especially safety for future maintenance workers. Even if they were using the safety line, look how many times they have to pull themselves up, over or around something. Check also the falling object hazards the second guy faces.
A brick, a bolt, a bar, a cup ...
invariably falll down not up.
or something like that
