I love it when you catch a song you haven't heard before on the radio and can't quite place the band or song but it has a familiarity about it. That happened to me this afternoon. For that minute and a half (missed the start of it) my brain went something like this:
"Is this U2?...no, can't be...is it that irish band someone tried to plug on the Word website a month or so ago? Must be, sounds a bit like U2...that lyrics embarrassing..is it U2?...maybe it's ok...get on your boots-ish...don't know if I like it or not..is it a joke...Bono trying to be cool?"
Anyhow, I waited with baited breath, fully expecting to hear it's a new band. Turns out it was the new single by the Arctic Monkeys.
