Don't expect Dave in too early on Monday...

And it could have been more

They must have missed 4 or 5 great chances in the first half.

I did feel a bit sorry for David Bentley. He's had a terrible time at Spurs, but scores a brilliant free-kick today, only for it to be credited as Kirkland (og) as it went in off the keeper.

Still...

as a Norwich fan I was rather pleased that Paul Scharner scored his somewhat dubious consolation so that there's still just the one team beaten 9-0 in the Premier League...

Admirable

...that Tottenham beating Wigan 9-1 gives a Norwich City fan opportunity to have dig at Ipswich Town.

Incidentally, everyone knows how much the referee is influenced at Old Trafford. On that occasion, he gave 9 dodgy goals! Talk about being robbed.

There's a marvellous compilation of Craig Forrest's expressions

on Youtube, which continues the theme shortly afterwards when he's moved to West Ham and gets similarly spanked by Man U Still, could be worse, it could have been by Colchester...

I can't believe...

that Ipswich were in any way even half as bad at Old Trafford that day, though, compared with our sparkling display against Colchester on August 8. A scoreline of 17-1 would just about have done them justice that day.
