Something for your Christmas list...

Patrick Crowther's picture

I came across a fantastic new book of the best rock n' roll photography at the bookshop I work in today. Graham Nash (yes, that Graham Nash) selected the images and he's done a great job. Johnny Cash giving the finger, Bob Marley with king size spliff, Marianne Faithfull naked in the shower. Sterling stuff.

It's called Taking Aim and it's really worth checking out. The print quality is excellent and it's very well designed. Probably the best book of rock photography I've seen.

Marianne Faithful?

Naked? In a shower? Doesn't sound like my sort of thing at all

Thanks Patrick

it is now on my list. Worth it for the front cover alone.

Perfect

when I get that "What do you want this year?" question from the wife followed by the irritated sigh I'll know just what to reply.

Taking Aim? There's a joke in there somewhere.

Why

Does it look more like Twilight Jedward?

Thanks for the

recommendation Patrick. My wife got this for me and it is a stunning collection of photographs. While the Marianne Faithfull picture is great and I loved them all, Mick Jagger in the sand pit is startling and has quite possibly scarred me for life.
