So Who's Going To See Mott The Hoople?

There was a lively buzz when the Hammersmiths gig next month were announced, and here I am gig-ticketed, train-ticketed, bedded for the night, only lacking the suits and the platform boots, and wondering:
- Who is going then?
- Which night?
- Any Word cohort pre-drinks planned?
- Anyone going to the Meet The Keys event beforehand on the 5th and 6th http://www.morgan-fisher.com/hoopling.html ?
Having had tickets for a gig on their cancelled final tour in the 70s, I've been waiting a long time for this.

I'm down for the concert on Saturday 3rd October. Therefore I have 2 spare tickets for the Friday concert, if anyone is interested. Always up for a Massive Flashmob event. Let's do something really daring, like drink beer. Who knows London Town better than us hicks from the sticks?

For the Saturday night, due to a panic when we thought it had sold out. I'd hate to see an empty, and don't want to go near eBay with it, nor stand in the street waving it about.

They were my first love and the band I bought my first two concert tickets for (yes, SAHB then Queen as supports). I really hope, from the bottom of my heart, you guys will give us a Word style blow-by-blow of the whole evening.
