Beatnik Polyphonic ringtone company, founded by Thomas D. in the mid 90s. Bowie -- TD played in his band at Live Aid. Incidentally, TD's brother Steven is very big on the academic side of computer information retrieval (i.e. the maths that makes Google tick).
