I just came home to find the Bobby Dylan mono box delivered. I was filled with trepidation at the thought of ripping 9 discs to my Mac. Imagine the joy of finding a card with a download link to save the trouble.

I've just realised I'm probably not going to buy a CD again if this is how I feel. How DOES it feel?

Me as well

Mine was waiting in a dented Amazon box on my return from work today. The download link was a very definite plus. The iPhone is loaded. The Etymotic HF5's are primed. The custom fit sleeves for my lugs are in for a treat
The trick now is not to overdo things or I'll be like an overstuffed child at a birthday party buzzing on cake and fizzy pop.
Is it just me or is the typeface in the book flipping tiny?

First thought

So THIS is what Dylan is supposed to sound like.

For example... The Mono Like A Rolling Stone sounds more like the "free trade hall" version; the sound is tighter, more bass, more aggressive. The stereo version has two tambourines panned viciously left and right. It just sounds like one on this.

The early acoustic albums sound more intimate, and you don't get the annoying stereo wobble where it sounds like he's moved away from the mic. Much better.

I could go on.
