Seven Days Is Too Long. Part 2: Tuesday...

To-day, songs containing the word Tuesday.

There's a lot of screaming on this one:

I fear this may be short list Nicodemus...

I have racked my brains to no avail!

Me neither

Though I did find a website that appears to me to have the highest fact/content ratio I have ever seen....http://www.isittuesday.com

Well, there's always this..

... from Mr Jones

Larry Heliotrope | 8 July 2008 - 6:51am

Always thought that was quirky...

... it would fit well on a serial killer movie soundtrack(!)

Nicodemus | 8 July 2008 - 8:16am

Worth a mention

You know, just for a change.

Sheryl Crow....

....has an album called "Tuesday Night Music Club" but there's not a song with that name.

Cat Stevens does "Tuesdays Dead".
Lynyryd Skynyrd do "Tuesdays Gone".

There may be youtube links but I didn't look.

Stevie Wonder's

Tuesday Heartbreak sprang instantly to mind.

Sun come up, it's tuesday morning......

...by the Cowboy Junkies.
But it didn't here. It's raining again.

"Tuesday Morning" by the Pogues

From their underrated non-Shane album "Waiting For Herb":

"Once Upon A Time" and "Drunken Boat" are my favourite songs on the album.

Nick White | 8 July 2008 - 9:00am

Skynyrd

"Tuesday's Gone" - accept no substitute.

There's a girl called Tuesday who works in a shop in town who had never heard of this song! Well she has now.

The Questions - Tuesday Sunshine

Can't find it anywhere but The Questions on Paul Weller's Respond label back in 1984 had a nearly hit with their song Tuesday Sunshine. Number 42 in the charts if I remember correctly.

Darn

I'd intended to swoop by yesterday afternoon to post this but didn't get the chance.

Better late than never?
