With all the recent bitching about different bands I believe it is time to recognise the lack of importance of both the Beatles and the Clash in the grand scheme of things.

Anyone who states catagorically that there is no other life out there should look at these and have a rethink. Statistically, the chances of there being at least two life bearing planets (whatever life may be) must be infinitessimely small, but given that what the video shows is infinitessimely huge I'd put a bob or two on it.
Well....
...there's around 100 to 400 billion stars in our galaxy alone, and something like over 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe. Other galaxies can contain anything between 10 million and many trillions of stars.
Whatever, that's a heck of a lot of stars.
Yesbut...
I'm reminded of the old Donny & Marie Osmond song about the boy and girl who never met because "he lived on the morning side of the mountain and she lived on the twilight side of the hill"; it's precisely because space is so vast that we may never get to meet E.T.
