Radio Magic
Not been in and around here much for a day or two so apologies in the unlikely event of these cropping up on another thread:
1. Remember good old Les Ross? The radio WM presenter who did the famous interview with Hardeep Singh Kohli.....

Well, he's moving on.....not a minute too soon.

2. Any early morning Radio 2 listeners here? I remember Sarah Kennedy getting a panning from a few of the massive at one stage. She's currently on holiday and sitting in this week has been Liza Tarbuck. Now I've quite liked things she's done in the past but she stinks like a drain in this slot, sounding permanently bewildered and about as funny as her dad. Or is it just me?

Lisa Tarbuck
Now I yield to no one in my admiration for her but could the problem be something to do with the fact that she's never done it before? When the producer goes on holiday, do they replace him with somebody from Accounts?
She's been doing a joint show with Martin Freeman
on and off for a few years now, mainly high days and holidays. She's okay with someone else, but not particularly funny, knowledgeable about music or easy on the ear on her own.
Les Ross
As a midlander these 28 years past, I can honestly say the words "and here's Les Ross" can strike more fear and Brummyphobia into me more than any other. That man blighted years of my life with his early morning shit, sorry "wit". And the bugger kept turning up at the same fetes as the Morris Side I was then in, back in the late 80s. A horrible waste of air.
Liza Tarbuck
She's getting me out of bed a good 5 minutes earlier because she grates so much.
i am really struggling with AM radio
now onto Radio 4 which i can tolerate and they play nearly as much music as everyone else. perhaps i should listen to that birdsong channel.
Perhaps 'The word '
could do a radio programme ... (expansion etc)
