Quake, Rattle and Roll - a shock rock playlist.

Forget blankets, bottled water and sleeping in the sports centre. How about a playlist to soothe the jangled nerves of those at the epicentre of tumbling trees and crumbling chimney pots.

Let's Get Ready To Rumble
I Feel The Earth Move
Housequake
Jump Around
Shake, Rattle, And Roll

Anymore for anymore?

Wrong earthquake!

The Dudley one was a few years back, I remmber collecting blankets and silver paper for the victims. This one was Hull. I slept thru' it, but Mrs Path said the earth moved for her, proving I've still got it, asleep or otherwise.

2 that sum it up for me

Ghost in my House - I was still up sat on the sofa. When it happened the front door opened by itself and there was no one there. Initially I was somewhat perturbed, clinging by my fingertips to the cracks in the foundations sort of thing, OK slight exaggeration. A typically British kind of natural disaster.

Houses in Motion - Talking Heads. Our house did seem to be moving, alarmingly.
