When they first showed
that Randy at St Lukes it was in preperation for some UK dates he then cancelled due to being poorly. As the new dates are only next week - stay well, Mr Newman!
Randy radio
If you're looking for a Randy fix before you go to the concerts at Gateshead, Glasgow and London next week, Ricky Ross played Randy Newman songs for the whole of his 2 hour radio show(Another Country)on Friday night. 26 songs, 11 of them covers by Word friendly artists such as Levon Helm, Bonnie Raitt, Harry Nilsson etc.
You'll find the iPlayer link on the Another Country webpage, here -

The Tom Petty documentary
is fantastic. Miss it at your peril. It converted a reasonable sceptic to a bit of a fan.
Bought the DVD set
can't say enough about it, every music dvd/doc should be this good
I'm watching it as I write...
and I've just ordered the Tom Petty Anthology. I'd forgotten how many great songs he and the Heartbreakers have recorded. Great stuff, and a great documentary.
So many gorgeous guitars
Loads of great stories too : I'd forgotten they spent so long with Dylan
Yes
I've never heard Dylan sound as good as he did with TP and the H.
