A judge has lifted the injunction on the News of the World publishing a story about England's Brave Captain John Terry:

Another footballing role model, Ashley Cole, was today banned from driving after driving his Lamborghini Gallardo at 104 mph in a 50 mph zone. Magistrates were reported to have laughed when the solicitors acting for Cole (who reportedly earns £120,000 a week) asked for 21 days to pay the £1000 fine:
