Podcast Quality - Up Arrow...

ainsley009's picture

Having moaned about this before, I felt it right that I should say how much better the sound quality on the podcast was this week.

Whatever was different made a BIG difference - for a change, I didn't have to suffer hearing damage from the ringing treble in order to get the thing loud enough to make out what everyone was saying while I was listening in the car.

Top job and can we not go back, please. I leave it up to you to decide on the quality of the content, of course.

Judas

I feel so left out as regards the podcast. Despite all the praise lavished on it here and how much I love The Word, I just couldn't stand the podcast (so I stopped listening).

I feel better now.

(I still love The Word. Don't hate me...)

My wife can't stand it either

..but there's a lot of stuff I love that she can't get along with. Is it the whole thing that you don't like, or just some bits?

Good question

I'm not entirely sure why I can't listen to it. Maybe it's the "blokiness", the amount of things which seem to to be snortingly hilarious/ridiculous. I know that this, um, raw charm is probably a selling point for many, but it's nails down a blackboard for me. :(

Again, apologies, love your work otherwise etc etc...

Love the podcast

And I missed it while it was away looking after Fraser's mum (glad to hear she's better).

It always seems better too when Mark Ellen appears. He's just so darn enthusiastic. And he lives near so many people too;-)

I finally bought an iPod

because of the podcast, I was fed up having a car littered with CDs of previous 'casts all over the place, it is essential listening on a rainy Monday morning
