Please put your clothes back on now

Remote Control's picture

*EDIT* More than happy with plot-serving or even gratuitous titillation, but I do wish Anna Paquin's Sookie Stackhouse in "True Blood" wouldn't vamp it up quite so much all the time.

Any other contenders for stars/characters you'd like to see wearing more clothes or popping bromide in their tea?

HBO show, isn't it?

Habitual Boobs Out.

Prey tell

why the complaint? It's a lovely sight and her willingness to disrobe is a beautiful thing, isn't it? She's all natural, which is not something one may remark about Katie Price and hence my constant wish for her to cover herself up at all times.
As Clive James once remarked "Once you've shocked people by taking off your clothes there's not much else you can do but put them on again."

Grant | 2 October 2010 - 8:55pm

'cause with all due respect

she looks like one of those toy trolls popular a few years ago.

Katy Perry's another exhibitionist celeb seems to believe she's super hot without my quite understanding why. Very possibly a lovely woman but...

Remote Control | 2 October 2010 - 10:01pm

Someone tweeted

"Katy Perry is a straight man's idea of what a gay man thinks a straight man thinks is hot".
That quote has perplexed me somewhat, but there might be kernel of truth in it. Somewhere.
Inevitably, I have to ask, if you're a mantelpiece sort-of-fella because the (former) Ms Paquin's fizzog reminds you of a toy troll, regardless of her fleshy bounciness in other areas, who sets Mr Controls pulse a-racing (apart from Irene Jacob)?

2
Grant | 3 October 2010 - 6:47am

Oh jeez

Most of the women on that list, or on TV, or working in shops, or shopping in shops...

But, for me, when Ms Paquin struts around, it's like Rob Brydon singing.

Remote Control | 3 October 2010 - 11:22am

When Anna Paquin...

...puts her clothes back on, I have to start concentrating on the plot. As far as I'm concerned, that's a double whammy of bad.

Anna Paquin?

The girl out of the Piano? Link this to the i feel old thread.

Kate Winslet

We've seen you now, dear.

0
zanzibarorbust | 3 October 2010 - 11:35am

But it is comforting

to know that we're growing old with her and can get regular updates on how she looks nekkid as she "matures".

0
Grant | 3 October 2010 - 2:05pm

Take no notice Ms Winslet

As you were.

3
kidpresentable | 3 October 2010 - 5:02pm

Oh, I see.

Only women that you deem attractive enough are allowed to strip off... I won't get a wink of sleep tonight wondering if I make the list or not.

2
Gauntlet | 3 October 2010 - 3:52pm

Not here

Any lady that takes her clothes off makes me want to drop to my knees and praise Heaven, so no complaints about any lady that wants to bestow her loveliness upon me.
Anyway I like Anna Pacquin AND Kate Winslet.

3
Grant | 3 October 2010 - 4:04pm

Wouldn't worry

he's just (toy)trolling ;-)

0
SpaceBoy | 3 October 2010 - 5:24pm

Sorry, my troll 'joke' was entirely unjustifiable

I have no problem with anybody stripping off or expressing sexuality, beautiful or not, young or old, male, female, gay or straight, I'm just bemused when stars overegg it (a la Paquin and Perry).

Simply wondered who offputtingly turned it up to 11 for anyone else.

1
Remote Control | 3 October 2010 - 6:03pm

Glad to hear it.

And also glad to see such enthusiasm for my right to be nude.

*takes clothes off, expresses sexuality*

2
Gauntlet | 3 October 2010 - 6:06pm

Standing right behind you, sister (metaphorically)

and your right to disrobe and express. As a valid weapon of subversion in the war against the sex oppressors, if you happened to take any photos of this expression, please share them with the Massive so we may-
a) be enlightened
b) join you in the glorious struggle (although some of us may be a little out of breath)
;-)

Oddly enough...

... the bloke who plays Jason Stackhouse seems to be extremely clothed this series. Good. He made me feel inadequate.

0
ganglesprocket | 3 October 2010 - 6:03pm

Everybody...

...I feel that way about almost everybody in the public sphere: male, female, big, small, tall, short, blonde, redhead, brunette.

Just keep them on, please.

JoLean | 3 October 2010 - 6:03pm

Madonna

She´s in her eighties now. It would be more exiting to not see her nipples once.

Ola Claesson | 3 October 2010 - 6:04pm

Exiting?

You dirty devil.

0
stevieblunder | 4 October 2010 - 1:32pm

Should that be "exciting"?

Perhaps it should. Need to do better English learning for make benefit glorious nation of Sweden.

Anna Paquin

Had to google her. If she's troll-like, God help the rest of us.

1
Spartacus Mills | 3 October 2010 - 6:08pm

I might not enjoy watching one rut every Thursday night...

but those trolls were kinda cute, no?

0
Remote Control | 3 October 2010 - 7:08pm

Hmm

The thing is, I've not seen many celebrities in the nip, so I feel unable to contribute to the thread. If anyone has any naked pictures of, say, Christina Hendricks I could look at, that'd be dead helpful. Ta.

4
Spartacus Mills | 3 October 2010 - 6:11pm

There aren't any

I've looked.

Then again, so has practically everybody else.

Try that first episode of "Firefly" she was in (she did two). That's the most onscreen pinky loveliness we've had from her.

Somehow, she reminds me of Nigella, the less shown but hinted at through astute wardrobe choices, the more alluring she becomes.

Revealing all would only ruin that...wouldn't it?

0
Grant | 3 October 2010 - 6:26pm

In the nip

I love that phrase.

0
Beezer | 4 October 2010 - 12:53pm

Paris &

Miley
Britney
Lindsay

Enough internet nipslips / crouching car photos to burn the retina for eternity, can someone not buy them some underthings now please? Ta.

badger_king | 3 October 2010 - 6:49pm

Mr Chuck Prophet

would like to address you all with a song that seems quite apposite:

1
Carl Parker | 3 October 2010 - 7:02pm

I'd be very happy

if I never had to see Tommy Lee naked ever again.
( And I suspect a few guys here would agree with me... )

0
Locust | 3 October 2010 - 7:35pm

Glad I'm not the only one who finds...

... "True Blood" to have just too much nookie in it. I'm not offended by it (nothing against the fragrant & lovely Ms Paquin either), I just don't think it adds anything, beyond propagating the old "vampires = sexy" trope.

1
Metal Mickey | 4 October 2010 - 11:31am

Ewan MacGregor

Following his early 90s output I can probably draw his schlong from memory so often did he 'put it on show' for us.

1
jimmyshoes01 | 4 October 2010 - 11:59am

Ronaldo

After reading my paper on the (surprisingly empty) train journey to North London, I'd like to put in a request for Ronaldo (the Portuguese/Madrid one*) to put his clothes back on. I'm rather tired (in fact, I didn't like it in the first place) of seeing him oiled up in his pants.

*Quite happy not to see the other one in the nuddy either.
