I suppose
what with this and mono boxsets flying out of the door somebody still got some money which must be nice.
£250
That may sound like a lot of money, but for a signed, limited edition, numbered print (not a poster - there's a difference), it's not unreasonable for an artist of Frame's stature. And in the current climate, it's probably not a bad investment either - a good portion of the contemporary art auction market is devoted to this kind of thing.
there's no mention
of what kind of print it is in the advert. In the age of laser printer "limited Edition" print is a dubious concept.
Quite true
There are lots are unscrupulous dealers passing off mass-produced product as limited edition prints - it's a real problem in this area. I'm just assuming that Frame's company are not dishonest, and that when they say "250 copies", the mean it.
Seems like an odd subject.
I could possibly understand it if it were (say) the HJHs but are 'Ver Mac' really that much of a draw - especially when he's did a tree of them 20 years ago.
where is it?
please

Never been that taken with
Never been that taken with his 'family trees' but for £18.99 you can get Frame's 'The Restless Generation', the definitive book on the subject of British youth in the 50's.
And, double result, it's not about Fleetwood Mac and it's £231.01 less!
I think they are beautiful
I think they are beautiful. Apparently Pete Frame can do a personal dedication. I cant believe my luck! You cant have a book on your wall can you?
