Person of unsurpassable loveliness Natalie Merchant

Moseleymoles's picture

Is touring in May. The full details are here. As to why you should go, here's Natalie on Jonathan Ross in the nineties. That is all and see you at Symphony Hall.

Excellent!

Will endeavour to get along. I remember going to an Elektra package tour back in the early nineties, primarily to see L.A. band X and not really knowing anything of 10,000 Maniacs. They blew me away and I've been a massive fan since.

Check this great clip.

How great is it at 1:53 when Natalie shakes her hair loose!

My god -

I think it's 20 years since I listened to 10,000 Maniacs - what a gorgeous voice - thanks so much for reminding me of her.
Any suggestions as to where to start with the solo stuff?

Can heartily recommend...

both Tigerlily and Motherland - both on Sp*t*fy (if that works for you...)

Meanwhile my fave Maniacs track, "Hey, Jack Kerouac"

Heartily recommend seeing her

Went to the solo tour (with band) back in the 90s too, bloody fantastic it was.
