people on a train
Yep on the late train home, a couple of strong beers to the good so it's "say what you see" time. My fellow passengers are
- a Chinese mother and daughter, the latter in a grey velour tracksuit that is by some miracle not unflattering, who've been sightseeing at St Paul's and shopping at Top Shop
- a very large tattooed Wednesday fan tapping away at his iPad, he's gone past the sudoku he was doing earlier, accompanied
- a not-at-all as large young lady with dyed red hair who, going by the complete lack of interaction between them over the last hour must be his sister. If she's his girlfriend, I give it a week, tops.
- a young lady, also with dyed red hair, a floral top, reading the pleasingly academic-looking Journal of Singing.
Come on, any other Massive members bored out of their skulls and unable to access Twitter looking to share for a few minutes?
I'm going to listen to McLusky.

Ooh excitement at Leicester
The Wednesday fan (who is wearing a Rolling Stones tour t-shirt) and associate have been evicted by reservation holding triumverate consisting of a mother and up-late school uniform clad daughter and a lady in what appears to a Mysterons jacket, reading The End of the Affair on an iPad on one of those stands (am I the only person w/out an iPad?). McLusky was a good idea. Mexican Kids At Home next.
I am eating Wasabi Peas 'cos I'm posh. Beer was from M&S too. Southwold Summer IPA. Yum.
Do keep this up.
Telly's a bit dull tonight.
Beer and McLusky on a train?...what's not to like?
McLusky's always a good idea,....."my Dad's bigger than your Dad, he's got 8 cars and a house in Ireland, sing it!"
Travellin' tales, travellin' tales...
...tales of travellin' on the train
or an automobile or an aeroplane
I wanna know what your travel entails.
ALL ABOARRRRD THE SKYLARK!
one of the Chinese ladies
has taken out and started eating something that looks like a mcdonalds burger only with a sort of muffin-cun-crumpet as a bun and it must be stone cold. Hmmm.
Oh look, Derby. I can only hope for more reservation related hi-jinks.
Just flicked Vs at Pride Park, natch.
Smokers Die Younger next on the ipod I think
no one looking to escape Derby for Sheffield
Fools.
I am a train numpty
Just knocked over the Journal of Music lady's water bottle when I got up to go to the bog. Played it cool though. Dignity mostly intact.
Smokers Die Younger's self-titled second album is a neglected classic. By 'neglected' I mean 'apparently only ever heard by relatives of the band. And me.' It is really good though. Honest. Really very good indeed.
wednesday fan
Has a tattoo on his inner arm with small hand prints ans footprints and the words "for Rose 14-06-10" in the middle (it might not be 'for' it might be a first name, but difficult to tell. And he is VERY large.
and Chesterfield means
Wednesday fan, companion and the Journal of Singing are Outta Here.
Mysterons lady has sketches of Blackpool, St Michael's Mount and Edinburgh Castle as a pattern on her bag...
Brushes with strangers
This guy sketches the people he sees on trains. And yes, he does it on his iPad.

Grrr
lit up Tescos
Means I'm nearly back.
Caught a glimpse of myself rflected in the window. Look much as you might expect. Surprised anyone sat near me frankly. Sticky out hair, bleary eyes, bad complexion. Nice.
Nighty night.
The Wednesday fan
is behind you by the way, he was contributing to the "Clique" thread on his ipad and didn't like your tone.........
yeah
Cos all Wednesday fans can spell 'clique'...
