He makes a mistake during this and has to stop and start again. His reaction is so understated and sweet; it's hard to imagine a performer responding in the same way nowadays, let alone allowing it to be televised.

Bargain alert

I Tunes currently have the new songwriter collection for £7.99. If you're short of PS material that's not bad for 32 tracks of a greatest hits nature.

Next Tuesday - BBC1

Next Tuesday 10.35 BBC One , Imagine...Simon & Garfunkel:the Harmony Game.
according to the Radio Times, this is the story of the making of Bridge Over Troubled Water, covering all aspects of the album's creation, and features archive interviews with Paul Simon,Art Garfunkel and various other collaborators. i've seen previous editions of this Alan Yentob series and they have been excellent.
Then switch across to BBC4 fifteen minutes later, for Songs Of America.
1969 documentary filmed during Simon & Garfunkel's tour of the USA.
Also just noticed that at nine on Beeb Two is an hour long doc on the Dambusters.
