Other blogs are available.

Blogs can be fantastic and interesting - like the Word's or the Nickel In The Machine - or they can be downright dull and sell obsessed.
Anyone care to share any fantastic and interesting blogs? There are some crackers out there:

Strangely compelling pictures of...no, I won't spoil it for you.

Family pictures from times gone by - a concept ripped off and cheapened by the inferior Awkward Family Pictures.

Eh? What?

I don't really get that one....
The last few weeks
posts on there have been admittedly pretty weak, but there are usually some pretty outstanding examples of shoddy or lazy photoshop work. Scroll back a bit, as the ones on the front page at the moment aren't very good.
The world in which we live in
Whenever I despair of being surrounded by incompetents, deluded fools, blaggards, blowhards and buffoons, I run to Everything is Terrible to remind myself that it could be so much worse.
Ooooh
Funny, I was just going to start a post like that. Instead, I will add to yours! Here are some things currently making me chortle:
http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/
http://itemnotasdescribed.com/
http://emailsfromcrazypeople.com/
http://www.yousuckatcraigslist.com/
http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com/ (which currently appears to be offline, shame)
they pretty much all do what they say on the URL
The London Shop Fronts one...
is great !
I'm a big fan of flickr
admittedly the visuals are a bit static compared to youtube but in general the comments are more humane.
You can while away your time in the "retro records" group for quite a while http://www.flickr.com/groups/52240935629@N01/
Mr Dave C's (of this parish) music blog Planet Mondo (see below in the sites we like bit) is good, full of his passion for tunes, he and a mate have started their own podcast too.
Most of the others I like are sort just people I like on the internet so it's hard to reccommend them to general audience as they have developed as social network.
Three more to look at
http://www.derelictlondon.com
A melancholic tribute to disappearing London. I wasn't going to submit this one as it's not really a blog, but it deserves to be seen, so here it is. The book spin-off is worth tracking down too. Anyone know of any similar sites for other UK cities?
http://www.bankholidaybritain.co.uk
A daily photo blog of the mundane, trivial and tedious, with a lovely deadpan delivery. Some of it is laugh-out-loud funny.
http://www.classiccafes.co.uk
Go on, have a guess. The news section is a blog, so I've included it.
Two more for your collection
http://ifyoulikeitsomuchwhydontyougolivethere.com/
A collection of idiotic comments from the BBC's Have Your Say site. The comments themselves are fascinating and slightly scary, the commentary alongside them can sometimes be a little crude, but the outrage is generally justified.
http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/
The wonderful Richard Herring's daily blog which he manages to maintain despite fitting in a lot of gigging, travelling, twittering and playing poker on his iphone. it's a great insight into his world and has been particularly interesting this week in the wake of the appalling Guardian article about offensive comics which effectively labelled him as a racist for no good reason.
Thanks and From the Upper Deck photo blog
Thanks for including London Shop Fronts alongside 2 of my favourite blogs.
Another great daily photo blog is From the Upper Deck http://www.ftud.net/ photos from the Upper Decks of London Buses
