Optimistic songs

BigJimBob's picture

As I look out the window the sun is shining. Walking in the local park I saw the crocus in bloom:

and then this came up on my ipod:

Every time I hear it I feel happier, but it was fantastically appropriate for early spring. Anymore suggestions for songs that invoke optimism. Let's face it, we all need some at the moment

The most optimistic song I own...

... is by the most miserable man in the word.

It's the repetition of "I will" which makes it optimistic to me...

The Aliens!

Their ongoing low-profile is a mystery to me. Have an up, Mr G Sprocket!

Surely...

...it's got to be:

I can't embed

iTune links, and I can't remember the singer's name, which is a poor start, but surely the leading optimism song is ' Don't worry, be happy'?

"There's Nothing Wrong" - Robert Cray

I'm not usually interested in Robert Cray but this is worth hearing, from his album, "Take Your Shoes Off":

Tender by Blur

Not a big fan of Albarn & co, but this is a perfect spirit-raiser when you're going through the mill a bit.

(Sorry if someone has already posted it, I can't view vids)

Not an uplifting tune but...

I always found the words on Gold in them Hills by Ron Sexsmith a good one to put on when feeling like the world is getting on top of you.

Just to clarify - not the version ruined by Chris Martin!
