Ooh, Claudia's on in a bit

She's turned out to be quite good on Film 2011, in my opinion...

Agreed
I wasn't expecting much, as what little I'd seen of her on telly (and really it was very little) was terrible - I particularly remember an interview with Victoria Beckham in which our Claudia just simpered. But I've seen a few editions of the Film prog, and I like her style. She doesn't pull her punches and has worthwhile things to say - as does her co-presenter, although I'd rather have one presenter for the most part.
Have an up!
I haven't come across "simpered" since Walter the softie & Foo-Foo simpered in the presence of Dennis The Menace & Gnasher.
That's news.
I didn't realise Walter and Dennis had that kind of relationship. It was always obvious that Gnasher swung both ways.
Agree wholeheartedly
Although I would associate the word "Simper" with Cuthbert Cringeworthy, the teacher's pet (and probably bastard offspring) in the Bash Street Kids. The word would appear above his head as Teacher presented him with yet another trophy/rosette for being top of the class.
I gave up on her
I gave up on her after three episodes. It seemed to me that she was trying too hard to justify getting the job, in that at the start of every review she'd say "first of all, I love... (insert directer/genre/actor etc)". It got a bit annoying. Has she toned this down now she's been doing it a bit longer?
Can I just say
that I would like nothing more than to be Claudia's Winkleman, she's Lovely, yes that is with a capital L.
I thought you meant Claudia Hammond
