Modern classical

I've been to two classical concerts this week, both featuring modern composers of 20th and 21st centuries, brilliant nights both with amazing musicians playing fabulous music.

It's not often one's listening covers Steve Reich, Arvo Part, Sigur Ros and egyptian tango, and a pianist who appears to be trying to subdue the piano to her will!

Greatest song ever written

Unlikely to be surpassed - nearly 200 years and nobody's even got close.
