Old rockers who still sport a luxurious thatch

.. and have no need of either syrup or thatch.
I'll open the bidding with Nick Lowe and Joe Brown.

Is it false memory on my part or are blokes going grey and losing their hair much younger than they used to? I'm sure you don't see nearly as many old fellas with thick white mops as you did when I was young. Could be the modern diet. Or - my pet theory - the one difference between old fellas of forty years ago and those of today: they all smoked. It's the tabs. Ask Nick Lowe. And watch his hair fall out now he's kicked the weed.
So spark up the gaspers, chaps. You won't live as long but at least you'll have great hair.

Specious argument

I smoked for England for 25 years man and boy. My hair stuck around for just 5 of them. Despite this fact i think i shall have a few over the festive period just to see if there is any chance of a 're-union' I mean everyone else is doing it why not me and my barnet.

the zep

as they seem to be in the news at the moment - Mssrs Page n Plant both seem to fully covered without any artificial assistance, well maybe Percy has a bit of a tint - but young Jimmy looks every inch the "elder statesman of rock" with the grey barnet.

bollocks I'm afraid

I'm 36 and I smoke like a chimney but, sad to say, the tide has started to go out upstairs. I'll smoke more if you think it'll help. It's pathetic I know but I'm considering an Elton style reupholstering.

Not scientifically prove yet, I admit.

Not scientifically proven yet, I admit. Just can't get the funding. If it's not the cancer wallahs hogging the research budget it's the chancers who got in on the ground floor of the climate change racket.
As for Elton-style reupholstering. Best avoided. Makes you sing in an even more ludicrously inauthentic fake American accent than when you had hair. Something of a miracle I suppose but not the one you're after.
