Now online: The Word Merchandise Store

Eagle-eyed readers may have spotted the new link appearing in the site navigation yesterday, the one that says Store on it.

This is the all-new, 100% official Word merchandise shop, featuring T-shirts, posters, patches, badges, rucksacks, clocks and more from over 3000 artists.

We recommend you buy all your clothing from here from now on. Jeremy Paxman probably does.

Not for me...

...I've started saving up for the "Maximum R&B Air Freshener".

Philip Bryer | 5 March 2008 - 1:52pm

No!

This wasn't what I wanted when I posted the question on February 17! I wanted a Word 'Fighting stupidity ....' shirt.

adze thuggery | 5 March 2008 - 1:54pm

Equally disappointed

While a Candylion mug might go down well at home, some actual Word-branded stuff would be, as Sir Jamie of Oliver might say, well pukka.

Mark Gould | 5 March 2008 - 2:00pm

One step at a time, fellows

Watch this space

Fraser Lewry | 5 March 2008 - 2:08pm

Nudge nudge

OK, Fraser and Jeff, I see, I see. Say .. no .. more!

Branding there own

Branding there own merchandise is something not even Q has resorted to.

Please don't tarnish the magazines image. Stick to the quality of writing and presentation, instead of flogging your own tawdry wares.

Liam Hatchet | 5 March 2008 - 5:33pm

We want

tawdry Word t-shirts

Kevin Woolard | 6 March 2008 - 7:18pm

I love the fact

that you can now buy a 'Gollum button badge' on the Word website. Could you do a deal with Tesco and I'll be able to get my weekly shop here too.
