Now Hear This Quiz!

I've just transferred this month's free CD to my hard drive and updated my spreadsheet of featured artists.

Who do you think has featured on these CD's most often since way back in July 2004 - answers on a postcard ....

Ermm....

Dumpy's Rusty Nuts?

Tonto's Expanding Head Band?

Flanders and Swann?

Nick Cave?

Surely it has to be...

Rilo Kiley? Off the top of my head, they've had one song from all 4 of their albums on a Word CD. With perhaps David Ford in second?

Joe R | 12 February 2008 - 9:02am

The Beatles?

The Beatles?

Mr Drayton | 12 February 2008 - 9:47am

That...

is funny.

Patrick Crowther | 12 February 2008 - 11:17am

I

think , old Sloop, we need to know more about the spreadsheet. For example, why?

Oeufman | 12 February 2008 - 1:24pm

Not sure if I can narrow it down but...

If it's not Rilo Kiley (and I did end up buying all their albums after hearing about them in the magazine) or The Decemberists, then it's probably Beirut or Fountains of Wayne.

matt_cochr | 12 February 2008 - 5:36pm

The Broken Family Band

and members/ex-members of Fairport Convention?

Results just in

And the winner is indeed Rilo Kiley with 5 tracks - Jenny Lewis isn't French is she David?

Followed closely by Fountains of Wayne, The Broken Family Band and Laura Veirs with 4 tracks each.

Paul Weller deserves a mention in dispatches with 3 solo tracks and a collaboration.

And David Ford has only managed 3 so far feelingsinister.

As to why? Too many days off over Christmas/New Year, boredom, lots of snow in the frozen wastelands just south of Edinburgh and a utility which made it a cut and paste job - MP3tag.

Who has featured the least, JohnB-oy?

I think we should know.

Retropath2 | 12 February 2008 - 9:20pm

Is it...

....The Beatles? I think I'm right.

Mr Drayton | 12 February 2008 - 9:41pm

Hooray!

I was first with the right answer... do I get a badge?
