Eating my Word
I owe an apology - in a previous post I implied that the CD's might be too safe, cosy and MOR. I decided to do some primary research by actually listening to the new one, and it's excellent.
Humble Pie - yum.
Bloody expensive pie
OK, OK, this latest CD is a corker, but now I need a second job to pay for all the extra CDs it's added to my wishlist. Excuse me while I wash down my plate of humble pie with this half-empty glass of water...
Expensive pie @ reasonable prices
Only bought one off the CD so far, but Clare's Movie CD was irresistable, especially at £5.34 delivered from Amazon... mind, once I scope out Spade Cooley, Levon Helm and Mark Olsen a bit more I may start feeling your pain...
