North-east Massive - Divine Comedy?

As a warm-up for the Word in Your Ear gig in London later that week, Mr Hannon's filling Hall 2 of the Sage, Gateshead on Nov 1. I have my ticket and rather looking forward to it.
Anyone else going? Possible opportunity for a beer-based gathering of the North-East contingent?

Not a good day for me I'm afraid
Out all day for the Derby game on the 31st and at work 2 till 10 on the 1st.
We really should organise something sometime somewhere, though.
Unfortunately....
...it's sold out. Would have loved to have gone. Surprised I missed this as I'm at the Sage every wednesday for ukulele lessons...
Enjoy, I like Hall Two, it makes for some very intimate gigs.

I shall enjoy in any case. Christy Moore's on in Hall 1 at the same time, which is an unusual juxtaposition.
I do love Hall 2 - when full it does have a wonderful atmosphere, and we've found ourselves behind the band a few times looking out at the rest of the Hall - magical.
Organising something sometime somewhere is a good thought...
