No Room At The Top

Have I made this up, or was a new adaptation of Room At The Top supposed to start on BBC4 this week - complete with Maxine Peake in too-bright lipstick? I put it on Sky+ - or at least I think I did - and it has transmogrified into Fanny Hill.
Any wise Worders know why it has disappeared - or was it all a dream....?

it was pulled at the last minute due to a rights issue.

I was so looking forward to it, especially the delectable Jenna Louise Coleman as Susan.
BBC4 didn't mess around mind, and slapped on a repeat of Fanny Hill on.

Weird.
Very weird. Didn't see it but surely someone should have sorted out the rights for this before a single scene was filmed? Indeed, before even a single word had been written. My feeling is that a head will roll for this. But not at management level obviously.....
Very Strange as Sunday Times...
..has a very glowing review of it - so much so I was thinking of looking it up on iPlayer.
