No Music Day - 21 November 2007

Did anyone mention it was No Music Day today?

Switch off NOW!!

ha ha ha

What wags! What jokers! My sides are splitting! I bet they're a hoot down the pub. "I hate music" "It ain't what it use to be" "All those youngsters and their ring tones" "Yeah and ipods" "I know what: Lets declare a no music day and all day there will be no music" "Great idea" "Aren't we really clever""Yeah really clever".

Couldn't they think of something more important to spend with their time - I mean its not like there is a shortage of things to protest about - war, the enviroment, the London Underground, Q magazine etc etc

I do think the world would

I do think the world would be worse off without him. As a concept it certainly makes you think - and to get the whole of radio Scotland to buy in must take at least a little effort!

The real premise that there is too much music and every now and again you should have a little rest does ring true. That very point has been discussed here many times.

Bill just likes to take an idea and stretch it to a media friendly conclusion...just like many modern artists.
