I had long assumed that there was no American equivalent of the Old Grey, that most promotional spots for music on television were to be found on Saturday Night Live or Letterman. Then I came across a wonderful Mary Margaret O'Hara performance (posted on the long-awaited albums thread) which unearthed this show that David Sanborn hosted in the late eighties, Night Music.
