mate

at least you put a bit of effort into your last shameless plug. I'm not watching the clip. If you can't be bothered then...

thou art bad, dog

Sheesh, the last one wasn't 'a shameless plug' - as the subsequent thread emphatically went on to show! As for this one, for crissakes, in the context of 21stC all-pervasive extreme feckin materialistic capitalism, a post (by someone with fantastic music credentials AND credibility) of Ms Reader's new video is hardly an exploitative crime against the unsuspecting massive.

You can't be bothered looking at the video but having discerned a sniff of vested interest you leap in with didain, all eager to show how smart and pure you are.

It's a nice enough song, but as she's the sister of one of the band, it doesn't count, it's obviously corrupt.

Sheesh and double sheesh.

is recommending something to the world always defined as a shameless plug ?? I shiver with alarm at the cynical mind set hinted at in your comment... I hope your time not watching the video was spent on worthwhile positive creative usefulness.

Too much bile on here for me

I thought it was rather nice - better than some of her other stuff but not as good as some of her earlier work especially with Boo Hewerdine. On a whim was always a personal favourite of mine and it was a long time before I realised it was a Ron Sexsmith song.
