Having 1st listen now. A bit underwhelmed unfortunately. One or two interesting chord changes, the best bit is the middle 8 and the la la la (Eno flavoured)U2ey outro. Still, didn't much like the lead-off single off the last album either, but the thing had a few diamonds and the single really grew on me with repeated listening.So I'm really looking forward to June 18th when Intriguer is released.

That whole, 'Initially I didn't like the lead off single from an album I'd long-anticipated, but it turned out great in the end,' thing happened to me big-time with Kate Bush's Aerial too....

I downloaded it and played it a few times and am still waiting for it to work its magic. I'm not worried. I know that it will, but it doesn't have the level of immediacy that one hopes for in a lead off single from a band known for their tunefulness.

In fairness, this is a band that once started an album campaign with Distant Sun; how the hell do you live up to that!
