Musicians Presenting TV Shows

Dunc's picture

Last night my wife had a steamy dream involving watching, through a car window while Simon LeBon shared an intimate moment with an anonymous woman. When she told me I said "You mean you have been dogging with Simon LeBon" which immediately sounded like a Channel 5 TV programme.
This led to further speculation on which musician (or in this case, Simon LeBon) would be involved with which TV programme - either real or imagined.

The best 3 I have so far are:
"Dogging with Simon LeBon".

An "At home at Christmas" type programme which used to feature Bing Crosby, Bob Hope or some other avuncular US star - Only in my world it would be:
"Christmas with Van Morrison".

Or "Changing Rooms with Phil Collins".

This is some way short of a full schedule so suggestions appreciated.

Alan Partridge

Do you remember a desparate Alan Partridge pitching ideas to the controller of BBC2? Monkey Tennis? Arm-wrestling with Chas & Dave? Youth-hostelling with Chris Eubank?

They all sound like sure-fire Channel 5 hits to me!
