Mrs Darwin's cookbook
Posted by Bigsby on 30 January 2009 - 12:00pm.
Nothing to do with music, but I saw a thought provoking news item at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cambridgeshire/7795854.stm about Charles Darwin's wife's cookbook.
I couldn't help but wonder what was in it..., Primordial Soup maybe?
There must be more...

Unlikely
Darwin's wife was extremely religious and found the implications of Darwin's work to be profoundly disturbing.
Sorry for being bumfaced about your splendid quip!
Bet that made for some interesting mealtimes
You'd have thought that such differences would have come out during their courting. It's a bit more than leaving the cap off the toothpaste.
Mr's darwin you say
Mrs. Darwin
By Carol Ann Duffy
7 April 1852.
Went to the Zoo.
I said to Him—
Something about that Chimpanzee over there reminds me of you.
from Ms Duffy excellent folio of poems of famous wifes etc
Did she create any new recipes...?
..or had they just evolved over time...
Time will tell
Apparently her cooking was so bad that only the fittest survived.
This is going to be really painful. Not as many puns as I'd hoped...!
