“Boffed.” Really? Wonderful.
lost me
DH's column in the new issue.
haven't caught up with my subscription copy yet but my interest has certainly been piqued. Now I'm tempted to buy one at the airport on the way home.
I think it should be known as Double-Wording.
Especially in a world of 'smashed' and 'nailed'.
The final word of 3 should indicate my joy at coming across an expression I'd never heard before. It made me laugh out loud. Just wanted to express my love of such wordsmithery. No problem here.
My apologies - no idea why, but I read sarcasm for some reason!
No offence taken. After this past week life's way too short to worry about t'internet's inability to convey joy and emotion.
who is David Heartbeat?
