Moving abroad - WORD-related queries
Posted by Tippy Wooder on 5 April 2010 - 11:01pm.
So... I have this offer of a job in the south of France on the table. I'm going to accept, but there's lots of things to sort out here in the north of England before I go (6-8 wks)...
A couple of things crossed my mind...
Does anyone know if I can just "shift" my Word subscription to a foreign address?
Are the Word podcasts available outside of the UK? To be honest, they're a pretty essential part of my day, the day they arrive, and it'd be rubbish not to be able to collect them from iTunes anymore...
Merci

I can't answer the subscription question...
as I cancelled and resubscribed when we moved, but the podcasts are definitely available in Australia, so I can't think of any reason they wouldn't be available in France.
Happy travels!
Not banned in France?
For being in the inferior pig-dog English language. *spits*
To be honest...
I'm not sure. The cost of your subscription would have been based on you having a UK delivery address, and now that's changing. Your best best is to question the subscription company directly - they can be reached at 0844 322 1259 or via word@servicehelpline.co.uk.
And yes, the podcast is available everywhere there's internet access.
er...
...it's not always available via iTunes everywhere that there's internet access, but the OP should be OK in France.
Yep
I didn't say iTunes was available everywhere, I said the podcast was. There are dozens of ways to retrieve the podcast - and iTunes is just one.
I thought as much...
... but thought I'd throw it out to the Massive first to see if anyone else had experience of it.
Thanks anyway, Fraser.
Mais
est-ce que le podcast peut se faire en francais?
