It's not something I've looked at before but someone mentioned it at work that iTunes counts how many times you play a song from it's library. What are everyone's top 3 'plays' on their iTunes library?

1. The Beatles - You Never Give Me Your Money
2. Bob Carpenter - Silent Passage
3. The Silver Seas - Another Bad Night's Sleep

I listen to Abbey Road too much for someone in their early 40's. Love that Bob Carpenter song. And the song I play to everyone I know to get them to buy The Silver Seas.

Skewed by a sunny summer, I suspect

Camera Obscura - Honey In The Sun
Monsters Of Folk - Magic Marker
The Blow Monkeys - It Doesn't Have To Be This Way

Okay, I'll buy that for a dollar....

1. Revenge - Dangermouse & Sparklehorse

2. Can - Mushroom

3. Disengage - Robert Fripp

From this evidence, I've been both misanthropic AND spaced out lately...

iTunes says:

1. Julie London - Cry Me A River (20)
2. Marlena Shaw - California Soul (18)
3. Sigur Ros - Svefn-G-Englar (17)

last.fm says:

1. Julie London - Cry Me A River (58)
2. Russian Red Army Choir - Soviet National Anthem (44)
3. Pietro Mascagni - Intermezzo (Cavelleria Rusticana) (44)

Can you tell what my favourite song is?

iTunes speaks...

Lets Go Away for a While - Beach Boys
Misere Nostre, Domine - Thomas Tallis
Everglade - Tortoise

That'll be the playlist made up of stuff the GLW doesn't find too skronky/shouty/abrasive...
